Project Description

Skyline multicultural

Singapore, a state city, attracts its imposing skyline of skyscrapers and ultramodern buildings, such as the spectacular Marina Bay Sands designed by Moshe Safdie and the Helix Bridge, Singapore’s ambitious government plan to turn it into a garden city with the project Gardens by the Bay. It also highlights the Esplanade Theaters on the Bay that groups several cultural facilities and the small library Bishan Community library of the architects LOOK Architects that won several prizes of design and architecture.

In Singapore there are many examples of modern architecture, but there are still many buildings of colonial architecture from the time of its founding by Sir Stamford Raffles and constructions of Malay, Chinese and Hindu influences. All this without forgetting all kinds of temples of all the religions imaginable that give the city a marked multicultural character. It is an ideal time to visit this city state in full architectural and urban transformation.
