Project Description

Smart City of Latin America among green zones

Bogotá is a cosmopolitan city.  Due to its firm expansion is considered as one  with larger growth in South America, and a great example of Smart City due to its use of sustainable technologies.  Bogotá is a beautiful city leaned on the backdrop of the Andes mountains and has a harmonious mixture of modern constructions with other buildings, which transport us to its important colonial past and to  Colombia´s beginning as an independent republic..

The capital city of Colombia has a very good  contemporary architecture, designed by globally known architects and firms such as Daniel Bonilla, Steven Holl Architects, Giancarlo Mazzanti and MGP Architecture and Urbanism, besides other good local architects who had left in the city outstanding buildings as the Infirmary Faculty of the National University,  Santa Maria de los Caballeros Chapel, the Arts Faculty of Javeriana University and the Memory, Peace and Reconciliation Center.

Bogotá also has an important Historical Center with beautiful examples of Colonial Architecture as the recently restored San Ignacio’s Church; as well as outstanding Modern Architecture from architects as Juvenal Moya, Aníbal Moreno, Germán Samper and the well known Rogelio Salmona.

Choose out from our architecture and urbanisme oriented tours, or ask our architects to prepare your guided visit to Bogotá with a tailor-made itinerary.   All our guides are professional architects who will pleasantly lead you through the architectonical richness of our beautiful city.
