QATAR

With an economy focused on the extraction and export of oil and natural gas, Qatar is a rich country located in the Persian Gulf that shares borders with only Saudi Arabia. Although considered one of the most liberal countries of Islam, Qatar continues to be governed by very strong laws. Currently, the Qatar Foundation is promoting the transfer of the oil economy to an economy based on education, science and research, investing large sums in these sectors. As for contemporary architecture, Qatar (and above all its capital Doha) is a developing country that already houses some innovative constructions and skyscrapers and is home to future projects of international strength.
