Innovation and excellence
Dominating the entrance to the Mediterranean sea we find the Iberian Peninsula, occupied mainly by Spain. This country, with its coastline to the Atlantic Ocean, the Mediterranean Sea and cities in Africa, is the third most prestigious UNESCO World Heritage site in the world. With a busy history and having been occupied by different civilizations, the Spanish architecture is very varied, and changes depending on its location. In its large urban centers, Spain houses buildings of great international contemporary architects such as Frank Gehry, Zaha Hadid, Álvaro Siza and Rem Koolhaas among others, making it an international center of innovation and architectural excellence.
