DESCRIPTION – Monterrey: Nuevo León – Public spaces and high-level architecture
Monterrey, the economic capital of the north of the country, is a city that is always at the forefront. It has created a thriving city, full of public spaces and high level architecture, where we can find from the iconic MARCO Museum of the great Mexican architect Ricardo Legorreta to the new Garza Sada Center of Art, Architecture and Design by Tadao Ando, unquestionably a must to visit contemporary Mexico.
In our guided tour by a local architect we will visit architectural works, as well as the Monterrey Fundidora Park and Hábita Hotel from Landa Arquitectos. We will also see the urban intervention of the Santa Lucía promenade and the Macroplaza (or Gran Plaza), the fourth largest square in the world.
Enjoy this guided visit in Monterrey, the capital and most populated city of the state of Nuevo León. Our tours are focused on architecture and urbanism and they are perfect for architecture lovers, experts and professionals as well as groups and student trips. Enjoy with Artchitectours guided visits around the world, made by professional guide-architects who will come along with us throughout the itinerary.
