We will visit the projects developed on the periphery areas of Madrid. The construction of social housing has received numerous awards for its quality, innovation and sustainability. The most prestigious architects have projected promotions in the districts of Vallecas, Carabanchel or Sanchinarro.

Departure in public or private transport to Carabanchel where we will visit the PAU housing in Carabanchel: Dosmasuno arquitectos (2008), ACM arquitectura (2010), FOA (2007), Aranguren & Gallegos (2004), Thom Mayne (2008). Lunch break (optional): Picnic in Madrid Río (West8 + Burgos & Garrido Arquitectos Asociados, Porras La Casta Arquitectos, Rubio & Álvarez-Sala). Then we will go to Villaverde: Housing by Chipperfield & Fernandez Isla (2009). Visit to PAU housing in Vallecas: Viviendas de Estudio Entresitio, Araujo y Brieva Ecobulevar Vallecas (Belinda Tato) y San Chinarro: Mirador / Celosía (MVRDV y Blanca Lleó).
