DESCRIPTION – Caracas: Axis of museums

Very close to the historic center is the cultural district of the city of Caracas. An area that includes the main museums of the city.

We will begin the visit of the National Museum of Architecture, recently built by Juan Pedro Posani, where you can see models and plans of the history of housing in Venezuela. On the way to the new headquarters of the National Art Gallery, we visit the Museum of Printmaking and Design Carlos Cruz-Diez, the only museum in Caracas dedicated to graphic arts and design.

We started a new section at the National Art Gallery, also recently inaugurated. We continue to the Central Park urban complex, built by the Simón Bolívar Center, which houses the Children’s Museum and the Museum of Contemporary Art of Caracas.

We will finish the visit to the Teresa Carreño Theater and to the Museum Square where the former headquarters of the National Gallery of Art and the Museum of Fine Arts, designed by Carlos Raúl Villanueva, are located.

This guided tour in Caracas (Venezuela) will allow you to visit the cultural district of the city, where the main and most important museums are located.
