TOURS IN BRASÍLIA
From utopia to reality
Brasilia is known worldwide for having applied the principles established in the Athens letter of 1933 and which have brought the urban thinking of the 1950s. In this architecture tour in Brasilia you will discover the amazing art, design and architecture this city has to offer.
Its construction began in 1956, based on the urban project of the architect and urbanist Lucio Costa, known as “Plano Piloto“. The layout of the city resembles the shape of an airplane, with a main body and two side wings with superblocks (superquadras). It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1987, being the only city built in the 20th century that has received this honor. The main architectural works of the city have been developed by the internationally known architect Oscar Niemeyer, and are the most iconic of modern Brazilian architecture.
Enjoy our tours in Brasilia focused on architecture and urbanism, perfect for architecture lovers, experts and professionals but also for groups and student trips.

Thank you very much for the great images! I can use them for my presentation to the office. I also intend to write a report on our website but that will take some time as I will have to make up for the worktime I “lost” om my trip.
The day after our excursion i rented a car and went to the University as you advised and I think iT was great! I also saw the cultural centre near the bridge (from a Bank?), severel Quadras in the north, went over the bridge, saw Some cul the sac Housing on the other side of the bridge, tried to swim near some clubs near the other bridge, went back to the quadra you showed me, tried to get in the theater but this was closed, went up tv tower and to a fair behind it. A busy day.
Thank for your your nice tour and great company,
All the best.
Everything worked out fine.
The tour was excellent thank you and Gabriel was first class.
He gave us a lovely mixture of architecture, planning, politics and everyday living.
We could not have wished for a better guide.
Thanks very much for arranging it.
We have just arrived in Rio to continue our holiday.

Everything went very well. We went on Thursday for the Itamaraty tour which was great. The interior is spectacular. I’m glad that we didnt miss seeing that.
Lucas was a wonderful guide on Friday. He had a unique perspective since he lived in one of the supercuadras as a child. His English is excellent. We had a great time.
It was a great tour- we learned a lot and saw a great deal. Lucas was a good guide and spoke very good English.
I thought the tour was great! I learned a loooot and Lukas was very nice. He showed me around the most important parts of the city and also adjusted the tour to my needs in terms of the topics discussed.
As a feedback, I would suggest that he brings water for the guests in the summer because it gets crazy hot and sunny and there aren’t many places where to shop. Also, I think he needs to take people’s physical abilities more into account- this is no criticism just an observation. We were standing and walking in the open sun (35degrees) for maybe 3.5hours. I know that Brasilia’s centre is simply build like this, but I think he can find ways to make it more convenient for the guests.
Maybe you’d also like to consider to offer this tour as an AirBnB experience so that people like myself can pair up more easily with other travelers to keep the costs for the guests a bit little lower.
Again, this is by no mean criticism just some suggestions for the future.
I really enjoyed and I am happy that I did the tour!
