Benidorm is a city that causes controversy. Its current image is due to the urban planning that Francisco Muñoz Llorens and Luis Rodríguez Hernández proposed in the 50’s. The weak height restriction or the position of the buildings on the plots, unleashed the creativity of some architects, limited by ordinances in most of the municipalities.

On this guided tour we will visit some of the most emblematic buildings from that time, not always correctly valued, and also the spectacular and unique structures of some new skyscraper.

And of course, we will also visit the new constructions by architects such as Carlos Ferrater on the Paseo de Poniente or by FOA on the local police headquarters. We will complete the tour visiting interesting works around Benidorm, including the Auditorium of Teulada by Patxi Mangado.
