Project Description

SLOVENIA

Natural and architectural landscape

Slovenia, an authentic crossroads in central Europe, has architecture as diverse as the landscape that sustains it. The architectural heritage of this country is large compared to its small territory. If you want to have a very good representation of what has been and is the architecture in Slovenia you must visit its capital Ljubljana known for its Baroque and its modernist buildings of Viennese Secession style. Above all, Slovenia stands out for its own modern architectural movement inspired by Finnish-style Scandinavian architecture with the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Slovenia with its leader Edvard Ravnikar, who formed a whole modern generation of architects who changed the architectural landscape of the country and modernized it.
