SWITZERLAND

Switzerland is a country of relatively small, human-sized cities. For example, there are very few skyscrapers and those that exist have a very small height considering the current standards. That makes their cities have a scale and architecture accessible away from the great world metropolis. In Basel we can enjoy a very large selection of great works signed by masters of contemporary international architecture concentrated in a small space. Zurich, meanwhile, with its beautiful old town Altstadt, also does not neglect contemporary architecture which makes the city a good place both to admire ancient and modern architectural heritage.
