Project Description

CARTAGENA DE INDIAS

The walled city

Cartagena de Indias, located in the region of Bolivia (Colombia), is one of the most important ports of America, something that together with its good communication with the other cities of the country makes it a very attractive destination. It is a walled city dominated by colonial architecture of civil, military and religious character, especially in the historical center, which was recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1984.

From the twentieth century, the city began a process of transformation and development that continues today, leaving at his way contemporary architectural works such as Giancarlo Mazzanti’s Pies Descalzos College, the Martín Lejarraga’s Cruise Terminal Pier and the Educational Institution Flor del Campo of Plan B Architecture and Giancarlo Mazzanti. We can also observe other projects that are still under development such as the Faculty of Administration of the University of the Andes of Brandon Haw.
